The family and tourist village of Ribarica is located in a beautiful bay at the very foot of the most beautiful and longest Croatian mountain, Velebit, which is only a few minutes’ drive away. A wonderful combination of Mediterranean and mountain climate. In the past, it was an exclusively fishing village, after which it got its name, it has become a peaceful and pleasant resting place where you can really breathe to the fullest. Ribarica is located on an important road that leads north along the Adriatic highway to the historically important city of Senj, and south to the beautiful and famously rich city of Zadar, and inland to Gospić, Plitvice Lakes and Zagreb. Ribarica can boast of beautiful bays and crystal clear sea, natural rocky beaches and an environment of untouched nature where peace and relaxing vacation are guaranteed.

Not far from Ribarica, 5 kilometers away, is the small town of Karlobag, where are located all the necessary facilities for daily functioning. At the very entrance to Karlobag is the unique and beautiful cove Tatinja.

If you want to explore the surroundings of our peaceful place, we definitely recommend that you visit the island of Pag, where you can have fun with the best nightlife on the Adriatic. Only 20 kilometers from Ribarica is the town of Jablanac, where there is a ferry port for the island of Pag, as well as a beautiful Zavrtnica bay that leaves everyone breathless. Not far from the town is Stinica, where is located the ferry port for the island of Rab.

For lovers of the continental part, visit our Velebit pearl National Park North Velebit. Velebit is a mountain sung of fairy powers and beauty. The natural benefits of relief and climate provide optimal conditions for year-round tourism. In summer swimming and sunbathing at the sea, in winter skiing and sledding, in autumn active rest and recreation on hiking trails in untouched nature, and in the spring, photography and the smell of Velebit herbs. Our most famous Plitvice Lakes National Park, Paklenica National Park, and the birthplace of the most famous inventor in the world, Nikola Tesla.
